At the Annual Meeting of Division Membership, the Division members will elect its incoming Secretary and five Council Members-at-Large seats. Immediately following the election, the Solo & Small Firm Lawyers Caucus meets to examine issues being addressed by the ABA that are of interest to and impact solo and small firm lawyers; announce ABA candidacies and meet with declared ABA candidates; and learn more about GPSolo activities and programs.

Council Meetings - $500 Investment

Location: Fairmont Chicago – Millennium Park
Approximate Attendance: 25 – 30
The purpose of the Council meeting is to exercise all powers and duties necessary and appropriate for carrying out the business and affairs of the Division. The function of the Council is to set policy for the Division. There are two council meetings scheduled since the ceremonial “Passing of the Gavel” signals the transfer of the Chair’s duties and a change of council members at the table.
