2026 Keynote Speaker Jill Wine-Banks – Justice in Action: A Legacy of Accountability

Jill Wine-Banks is the author of The Watergate Girl: My Fight for Truth and Justice Against a Criminal President and a well-known legal analyst, speaker, co-host of the Webby Award-winning podcast #SistersinLaw, and host of Just The Facts on YouTube. She also creates content on TikTok.

Jill was the only woman on the Watergate trial team, the first female General Counsel of the US Army, Illinois’ first Solicitor General and Deputy AG, and one of few women to argue in both the US and Illinois Supreme Courts. She was a partner at Jenner & Block and the first female COO of the American Bar Association.

She later transitioned to international business with Motorola and Maytag, working across Asia, Europe, and South America. Jill then led Winning Workplaces, a nonprofit, and served as Chief Officer of career and technical education for Chicago Public Schools, where she created the city’s first early college program.

Her many honors include awards from the DOJ, Army, Girl Scouts, YWCA, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Who’s Who in America. She serves on numerous civic boards and is active in The Chicago Network.

As the first Black head coach at multiple programs, she turned struggling teams into record-breaking successes through commitment, adaptability, and teamwork. Her story delivered powerful lessons in leadership and pliability for the legal community.


2024 - Resilience: A Comeback Story

CEO Stephanie Stuckey highlighted the revival of the iconic roadside brand Stuckey’s, which had declined for decades under outside ownership. After acquiring the company in 2019, she and her partners led a successful turnaround, restoring its legacy and inspiring audiences with her story of entrepreneurial resilience.

 
2023 - The Future is Now

A dynamic conversation with Donna Brazile—ABC News Contributor, Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board member, veteran political strategist, and adjunct professor in Women and Gender Studies—explored leadership, politics, and the evolving role of women in shaping the future.
