GPSolo Diversity &

Young Lawyers Fellowship Programs

The GPSolo Diversity Fellowship Program promotes diversity within the Division and the ABA by providing leadership opportunities for historically underrepresented groups, including racial and ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and persons with disabilities. Each year, four applicants are selected as Fellows and encouraged to attend the GPSolo Division's Fall and Spring meetings (with reimbursement for up to $500 airfare and $100 per diem for two days of each meeting). The selected Fellows will also assist the GPSolo Diversity Board with a substantive project for the Division and will be paired with a mentor.

The GPSolo Young Lawyers Fellowship Program offers leadership opportunities for young lawyers, particularly those who have demonstrated involvement in bar association and non-bar activities. Successful candidates will be active members of the ABA Young Lawyers Division (YLD) or have aged out of the Division within the past three years. Each year, two Fellows are selected to participate, attend the Fall and Spring meetings, and be appointed to the GPSolo Young Lawyers Committee. Fellows are expected to complete a substantive project for the Division and will also be paired with a mentor.
